Walnut Pesto Noodles

This fresh and zingy pesto remains a firm favorite. It’s delicious, ready in a minute, and is incredibly versatile. Yes, it’s great with pasta, but it’s also ideal on top of a baked sweet potato, alongside roasted vegetables, or as a dip with whatever you fancy.


  • 2.5oz noodles
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • ½ lemon, juice only
  • 2oz walnuts
  • 2oz fresh basil leaves
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook the noodles as per the packet’s instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, put the five main pesto ingredients into a blender and blitz.
  3. When the noodles are cooked, fold the pesto into them, and season to taste.
