Go Vegan for World Environment Day!

For World Environment Day, join us in creating lasting change. Scientists agree, going vegan is the most effective and sustainable option for the long-term health of our planet.

There is one thing that drives climate change, deforestation, and the loss of wild species. It’s the same thing that wastes water, unleashes pandemics, and pollutes our rivers and oceans: Animal agriculture. We can protect the Earth’s Biodiversity, reduce pandemic risk, and protect animals by going vegan today. And it is as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Sign up to one of our challenges

We know that changing lifelong dietary habits and patterns can be challenging and that’s why we have tailored six courses to help you introduce plant-based eating into your life. Choose the motivation that resonates most strongly with you for seven dayswhether that is the planet, animals, health, humanity, or spirituality—or commit to a 30-day course for a fuller, deeper understanding. The courses are free… and life-changing!

2. Find your community

If you are the only vegan you know, it is much harder to stay vegan. For support, like-mindedness, and friendship, we recommend you find your vegan tribe! There are so many vegan communities online where you can find others who love the things you love, whether that is running, biking, baking, knitting, weightlifting, or eating. And perhaps there is a community in your area that holds meet-ups where you can connect with others and really feel the vegan love.

3. Learn and share

There is a lot of misinformation about a plant-based diet—much of it deliberately spread by the meat and dairy industries. Being educated helps us stay with our principled decisions. So, read more about the positive environmental and health benefits, or watch some of the life-changing movies that have already brought veganism to millions of people. And don’t be afraid to share what you learn. We can each have a positive impact among our own friends and families.

We only have one world. Let’s clean up our mess so our children don’t have to.
